THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
The primary focus of this position provide a leadership role to management of inventory (incoming and outgoing) for a major manufacturer of consumer goods.
Through an understanding of technology (tooling, parts, lead times, JIT Processes, VMI, Consignment) this individual will assure inventory is maintained for manufacturing processes
Will work with vendors to manage inventory in a JIT environment
Focus on consigned inventory
Utilize ERP / MRP system (Ion)
Plan for 5 day supplier inventory / logistics

BACKGROUND PROFILE:
Relevant Degree required
7 or more years experience working in a high volume planning facility
APICS certification a plus.
Understanding of 5S
Strong ERP background (ion is a plus)
Must be self directed and self disciplined, ability to perform duties without close supervision
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills are required, along with a strong work ethic.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a fast paced and high stress environment
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
