ALL POSITIONS WILL BE LOCATED IN VARIOUS COUNTIES STATEWIDE: MARION, ORANGEBURG, SUMTER, HORRY, CLARENDON, DARLINGTON, CALHOUN, WILLIAMSBURG, AND ALLENDALE COUNTY.
THIS POSTING WILL BE USED TO HIRE TWENTY-FIVE (25) TEMPORARY PEANUT INSPECTORS.
ALL TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENTS WILL BEGIN THE FIRST OF SEPTEMBER 2014 AND CONTINUE UNTIL THE FIRST OF DECEMBER 2014.
JOB DUTIES: Perform peanut inspections which includes grading Farmer Stock Peanuts according to USDA Standards for size, damage, foreign material and quality.
Position will require long periods of standing or sitting, working in extreme hot and cold temperatures, working in dusty conditions and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
High school diploma and knowledge of computers.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
Must be able to work well with others in a team environment.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Additional Comments:
Training will be provided. All inspectors must successfully complete training prior to beginning work.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
