BASIC PURPOSE/SCOPE:
- Responsible for production on a daily basis. Reports results to Plant Manager.
- Utilize Integrated Process Management to track and audit plant processes.
- Provide leadership and coaching to workforce in all aspects, including safety, IPM, cost controls, sanitation and production.
- Continuous improvement of processes and work conditions.

- Manage staffing schedule to meet production needs each shift.
- Review production reports to ensure associates are adhering to standard operating procedures.
- Drive quality improvement and process waste elimination initiatives through functional team leadership.
- Supervise team of hourly associates.

- Provide leadership, direction and coaching to effectively and efficiently execute the activities necessary for distribution of finished products.
- Promote good employee relations to ensure a safe, clean and organized work environment.
- Manage associates in consideration of the designated bargaining agreement.
- Ensure accuracy of order selection process with product accountability paramount.
- Responsible for achieving service to sales levels and safisfaction of customer expectations.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Must have prior bakery experience in a leadership role.
Willing to work as relief supervisor on all shifts
BS degree preferred
Organized, good communication skills, proficient computer skills and leadership.
