Job Description:
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING As the Human Resources Recruiter, you will drive staffing initiatives for the hourly workforce to ensure the best talent is hired for the Orangeburg facility.
Key initiatives include:
building and maintaining talent pipeline to meet production needs, designing and implement recruiting plans and strategies to meet staffing needs for our facility.
As a key member of the HR team, you will also help ensure the retention and engagement of our workers and strive to ensure we maintain our role as an employer of choice.
You will be trusted to:
Work with Hiring Managers to understand staffing needs to develop and implement recruiting plans and strategies for hourly staffing, including but not limited to:
Building a talent pipeline by engaging in local community activities to attract talent Create, review and revise job postings Screen applicants by reviewing applications and resumes Conducting interviews (phone, video, in person) Manage and guide candidate selection Manage onboarding and conduct new hire orientations Continuously improving hiring processes to enhance candidate experience Assist HR Manager with analyzing the data on employee metrics (track hiring plan, retention, turnover, etc.
) Help develop, implement and improve retention strategies Manage tactical HR functions related to benefit administration, payroll, employee IDs, etc.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information Collaborate with front-line leadership through advice, coaching, and counsel to improve work relationships, build morale, and improve hourly retention metrics Supports and coordinates engagement activities for new hire employees through first 90 days of employment Create weekly reports on hiring activities and retention of new hires
Qualifications:
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, and experience Minimum of 1-year high volume recruiting experience required Previous experience in a manufacturing environment required Experience with Lean Methodologies preferred Ability to prioritize work, and work in a self-directed and fast-paced environment Attention to detail to ensure accurate data management Advanced Excel skills Intermediate Powerpoint and MS Office skills PHR Certification a plus Bi-lingual Spanish capabilities are a plus WHAT WE OFFER At Lennox, we realize that our greatest assets are our employees.
