Some overnight travel may be required within the SC/Eastern Georgia territory.
We will consider entry level and experienced candidates for this role.
Pay rate will depend on experience.
As a McCall-Thomas Communications Field Technician, you will be joining a team of dedicated individuals committed to our mission of providing quality solutions and services to each of our clients.
This full-time employee will be working primarily on long-term projects for our telecommunications customers within SC and eastern Georgia.
The responsibilities for this role include:
Reading schematics Being familiar with RUS (Rural Utility Service) Units and Practices Staking of fiber optic buried and aerial cable (hand drawn staking sheets and electronic) Inspection of fiber optic construction (buried and aerial) Tabulation of staking sheets Knowledge of Elation software is a plus What Will You Need:
Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship High school diploma Strong computer skills Valid driver's license Ability to travel/overnight stays may be required At McCall-Thomas Engineering we have been providing quality engineering and technical services since 1945.
